Passiflora alata flowers attract bees

Fragrant flowers and delicious fruit. These flowers have an extremely sweet smell that attracts bees in the forests of Brazil. The fragrance comes from the lampshade-like corona which is striped mauve and white. After pollination, a large yellow fruit develops as a big as a man's hand.
